As a Process Safety and Investigation Engineer at Cytiva, you will have the chance to develop and implement safety measures, contribute to process development, and work in a dynamic and learning environment!

Academic Resource is looking for a Process Safety and Investigation Engineer for Cytiva in Uppsala.

The position is a full-time employment and a long-term consulting assignment, with a good possibility of extension with the client company. Start immediately or as agreed.

About the position:

As a Process Safety and Investigation Engineer, you will conduct necessary investigations and report your findings to be used as a basis for further decisions and strategies. You will work with process safety and installation in ATEX environments, as well as support projects and activities that require new or modified process technology or work processes. You will belong to the Technical office, a department that supports chemical processes and chemical engineering.

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree. Preferably with an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

• Experience from the chemical process industry with ATEX and flammable liquids/solvents. Experience in process safety, ATEX EHS (environment, health, safety).

• You must be able to read CAD.

• Good language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Previous experience with CAD, 3D modeling, SMART P&IDs, and Sitebase is considered an advantage.

• Structured

• Detail-oriented

• Good communicator

• Skilled at gathering information from people, technical documents, drawings, P&IDs, functional specifications, regulatory documents, and standards.
